The King Panpan Projects aim is to create a new bear illustration everyday for all of 2010. The bear designs encompass a wide variety of themes from an Abe Lincoln bear to modern day pop culture tributes. The compass face was illustrated by King Panpan creator Julius Santiago. Twelve original bears were created to represent the 12 points of the Zodiac Compass. The twelve bears inhabit a lust green world full of interesting things see from the top of Mount Fuji looming in the distance just over the tree tops of the Panpan forest, to the sun and moon moving across the clear blue skies.

Zodiac Compass
Located at each of the cardinal points of the compass is a Panpan bear dressed in a costume to represent a animal in the zodiac compass. To the north is the Rat… or in this case the mouse. In the south the Horse. To the East and West are the Rabbit and the Rooster respectfully.
And each intercardinal point the bears are in pair groups as follows, northeast is the Ox and the Tiger, northwest is the Fox and Pig, southwest is Dragon and Snake, and finally to the southeast the Sheep and Monkey.
